Earrings are the hardest piece of jewellery to get right if your ears react to metal, because the post sits inside the piercing rather than resting on skin. Every pair here is 18K gold plated over a stainless steel core, made without nickel in the plating process. If your ears usually react
Itching, soreness or a weeping piercing a few hours after putting earrings in is almost always a nickel reaction. Nickel is the most common cause of metal allergy, and it turns up in the alloys used under thin gold plating on most inexpensive earrings.
What our testing showed. A representative 18K gold plated stainless steel piece from our range was tested by TÜV Rheinland in Thailand, report number 242147025-03, against EU REACH standards. Lead, cadmium and nickel release were all not detected.
The report covers a representative sample rather than every individual item, and skin sensitivity varies between people, so we will not tell you that any earring is allergy proof. Wearing them under a hijab or scarf
Studs and mini hoops work best here. They sit flat against the ear, so nothing catches when a scarf is wrapped, adjusted or removed, and there is no pull on the piercing through the day.
Drop earrings and full hoops are worth saving for occasions where the ear is visible, not because they look wrong, but because repeated snagging is the fastest way to damage any earring, at any price.
Shower, gym and pool
You can leave these in. Showering, washing your face, sweating through a workout and swimming are all fine, which matters more for earrings than for anything else you own, because earrings are the pieces people forget to take off anyway.
What does damage a plated finish is chlorine tablets, bleach and cleaning products. Swimming in a pool is fine. Handling the chemicals that go into it is not. Apply perfume and hairspray before putting earrings in, not after.

Why these hold up in UAE humidity
Most affordable earrings are built on a brass or copper alloy with a thin gold layer on top. Once that layer wears through, the alloy underneath reacts with sweat, and you get discolouration on the metal and sometimes on the skin around the piercing.
Ours use a stainless steel core, plated with a vacuum coating process rather than a quick dip. That bonds the gold layer far more securely, so the colour survives water and friction. No plated finish is permanent, ours included, but the difference in this climate is significant.

Earrings are the easiest jewellery gift to buy, because there is no size to guess. Studs suit almost everyone, and a stone set pair reads as more considered than a plain chain at the same price.

Common questions
Are these earrings safe for sensitive ears?
They are made without nickel in the plating process, and the tested sample showed no nickel release, which covers the most common cause of reactions. Skin sensitivity still varies between people, so check with us first if you have a diagnosed metal allergy.
Can I sleep in them?
Studs and mini hoops, yes. Drop earrings and full hoops are better taken off at night, purely because they can catch on bedding.
Can I shower and swim in them?
Yes. Water, sweat and swimming are all fine. Avoid chlorine tablets, bleach and cleaning products.
Are the stones real diamonds?
No. Stone set pairs use high grade cubic zirconia. Every listing says so, and we never describe cubic zirconia as diamond.
What if one earring is faulty?
Message us on WhatsApp with your order number and a photo. Faults inside 7 days are handled as returns, and manufacturing defects or fading inside 6 months are covered by the warranty.
